Dale is an enemy that appears exclusively in Kirby Air Ride. It is found in dark areas of courses and it lights up the areas by its luminescent glow. When defeated by methods other than eating them, Dale leaves behind glowing orbs of light that continue to light the area until it descends and disappears. Dale doesn't intend to attack Kirby, but its body and the light it leaves behind damages Kirby when touched. Dals doesn't wield any ability in particular when inhaled.
Dale makes cameo appearances in later games. In [[Kirby: Canvas Curse|Template:KCC KPP]], Paint Roller draws a picture of it in Paint Panic. Dale was also set to appear in the canceTemplate:Led Kirby for Nintendo GameCube game.
