Dolphin is a yarn transformation in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, found exclusively in Water Land. Kirby and Prince Fluff both turn into a dolphin when they touch the Metamortex, and they both act independently.

Abilities

The Dolphin increases water mobility and allows Kirby and Prince Fluff to attack and destroy obstacles underwater by using a spin dash, which also gives them a momentary speed boost. They can also fly further out of the water, and swim through rings to receive additional beads. Furthermore, the Dolphin has the ability to toss in balls with beads in a hoop, mimicking trained dolphins in the real world, though this is only used a single time in Blub-Blub Ocean.

If the dolphin ends up on land, it will be unable to perform any of its usual graceful movement options, and instead can only slowly slide around on the ground until it can return to the water.
