Poison Apples are a sub-type of Apples that debuted in Kirby Super Star Ultra. They are occasionally dropped by Whispy's Revenge. They behave like normal apples, but if Kirby tries to inhale them, he will take damage and be unable to spit them out as Star Bullets. As such, they are best avoided or knocked out of the way.

Poison Apples also appear in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, when Kirby faces off against Whispy Woods EX in the Extra Mode and The True Arena.
