There are two main line patterns for the cards, with the most common being a pattern where one minor reward is given on the 7th spot, and every tenth card having a different pattern where a minor reward is given on the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th spots. Aside from this, the only visual differences between the cards are the background and line colors and the card number. It appears that the minor reward is always a single Souvenir, while the major reward is typically a Dress-Up Mask. After all Dress-Up Masks are obtained, the major reward is two Souvenirs instead.

The first of many cards in the Stamp Rally
I even made a Stamp Rally. It's super fun! Try out the various subgame attractions, and collect a bunch of stamps as you go.
— Manager Magolor introducing the Stamp Rally in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe

Stamp Rally is a feature in Merry Magoland in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, wherein rewards are given for getting a certain number of stamps, earned by playing Sub-Games, redeeming Stamp Tickets, or finding Hidden Magolor stickers in the park. The way it functions is very similar to the Life Piece menu from Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. Stamp Rally is the primary way that souvenirs and Dress-Up Masks are obtained.

Each Stamp Rally card has 15 spots for stamps which form a line with rewards along the way, with one or more minor rewards in intermediate spots and a major reward at the last one. There are two main line patterns for the cards, with the most common being a pattern where one minor reward is given on the 7th spot, and every tenth card having a different pattern where a minor reward is given on the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th spots. The cards also come with different kinds of illustrations at the top, though the illustration only changes with every 10th rally card for the first 50, with the 50th card having its own unique artwork (after that point, the illustration changes with every new card, though there are no new ones, and the special 50th card art reappears every tenth card). Aside from this, the only visual differences between the cards are the background and line colors and the card number. The number of cards caps out at 99; after this point, all future cards are numbered 99, though they continue to cycle through the illustrations. In the demo version of the game, the number instead stops increasing at 05, with the cards repeating from there with a different color palette each time.

The minor reward is always one or more souvenirs, while the major reward is a Dress-Up Mask. After all Dress-Up Masks are obtained, the major reward is more souvenirs instead. Whenever stamps are obtained, they are shown being added to the Stamp Rally cards one by one, collecting any rewards they pass on the way; it is possible to skip this stamp addition scene, in which case the game will simply display the player's rewards. The stamps themselves are designed after Manager Magolor.

Stamp Tickets[edit]

A Stamp Ticket in a stage in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Stamp Tickets can be redeemed for stamps in Merry Magoland. Collect lots of stamps to get special souvenirs!
— In-game prompt from Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe

One way to earn stamps for the Stamp Rally is by redeeming Stamp Tickets, which can be found while playing in the Main Mode or earned by playing Sub-Games in the Lor Starcutter. Each Stamp Ticket is worth one stamp when redeemed, which is done automatically upon returning to Merry Magoland. However, it is worth noting that only a few Stamp Tickets at a time can be earned by playing Sub-Games in the Lor, so it is always more worthwhile to play them in Merry Magoland if the goal is to earn lots of stamps. Additionally, once a Stamp Ticket has been collected in a stage, it will be permanently replaced by a red Point Star.

Earning Stamps[edit]

Playing Sub-Games is the main means of earning stamps for the Stamp Rally. Additionally, 3 hidden Magolor stickers will appear in the park each day, and award stamps as well. The following are the known methods of getting stamps, and how many stamps each task rewards:

  • Performance Bonus! - Rewarded per play. Amount earned varies by game, difficulty level and placement.
  • Times played - Worth 1 stamp per play.
  • You played for the first time! - Worth 12 stamps (awarded only once per save file).
  • You found a Hidden Magolor! - Worth 5 stamps.
  • Stamp Tickets Exchanged - Worth 1 stamp per ticket.
