Dale is an enemy that appears exclusively in Kirby Air Ride. It is found in dark areas of courses and it lights up the areas by its luminescent glow. When defeated by methods other than eating them, Dale leaves behind glowing orbs of light that continue to light the area until it descends and disappears. Dale doesn't intend to attack Kirby, but its body and the light it leaves behind damages Kirby when touched. Dale doesn't wield any ability in particular when inhaled.

Paint Roller can possibly draw a picture of Dale in the Paint Panic sub-game in Kirby: Canvas Curse and was also set to appear in the canceled Kirby for Nintendo GameCube game.
