- This article is about the game mode in Kirby's Star Stacker for the Game Boy. For the same mode in the SNES version, see Round Clear (SNES).

Round Clear is the main game mode of Kirby's Star Stacker for the Game Boy. In it, the objective is to clear each round by stacking the required number of stars before a Game Over scenario can occur. King Dedede serves as the main antagonist in this game-mode, issuing a taunt at the beginning of the game and causing more rows to appear during rounds. There are five distinct difficulties to clear, and clearing each one rewards the player with a special illustration featuring Kirby and his Animal Friends. Once all five are clear, the title screen of Kirby's Star Stacker will change to give Kirby a crown and the Star Rod, marking the game as essentially complete.
Round Clear by difficulty
There are five difficulties to choose from in Round Clear, named "Normal", "Hard", "Very Hard!", "Super Hard", and "Insane!". The last difficulty of "Insane!" is not available to play until the previous four are cleared. Each difficulty comes with a preset number of rounds, along with set star requirements for each round, and the first four also feature a number of "time out" sections between them, where Rick, Kine, and Coo play out certain small situations for a moment, though these can be skipped.
