'''Missions''' are a set of objectives that [[Kirby]] can meet in all regular and boss stages in the main game of ''[[Kirby and the Forgotten Land]]'', which allow him to free more trapped [[Waddle Dee]]s, whether they are physically seen in the stages or not. Each main game stage (excluding [[Point of Arrival]] and [[Lab Discovera]]) has five mission objectives, with the first one always involving freeing the three Waddle Dees in the gold cage at the end of the stage. Completing every mission is necessary to free all 300 trapped Waddle Dees, and thus, earn [[100% completion]]. Missions do not need to be completed all in one go: in fact, whenever a stage is completed with unmet objectives, one of the hidden ones will be revealed. However, it is possible (albeit sometimes difficult) to complete all objectives in a single stage playthrough.
