Northeast Frost Street (theme)

"Northeast Frost Street" is the stage music for the stage with the same name that first appeared in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It was composed by Yuuta Ogasawara.[1]
Composition
"Northeast Frost Street" is a mysterious track in A minor, written as a waltz through a winter wonderland. It's somewhat similar in composition to "Wind Blowing on Earthfall" from Kirby Star Allies, which was also composed by Yuuta Ogasawara, and this was an intentional decision.[2] The first half of the track introduces the melody with lead instruments like flutes and electric guitars. This melody continuously sways from A minor to C major and back, which occurs several times throughout the section. The final switch ends on an elevated suspense, readying the following section. The second half of the track is more powerful and sweeping, with plenty of stringed instruments taking charge alongside a key change to C minor and E-flat major. A lyrical solo guitar passage nearing three quarters brings out the most in the minor harmonies. After it plays two times, the melody is carried higher to the distant G-flat major. After this peak, it returns to the original key, where the track loops.
