Maw is a large-mandible, eponymous foe that dwells in seldom-seen areas, whether it be beneath the clouds within few of the stages of the Shiver Star, or from above as in many of the cave levels of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Interestingly, though it may seem as if it would reward the Needle copy ability if swallowed in respect to its sharp beak-like mouth and teeth, it provides Kirby nothing upon ingestion.
