Level 4-1 is the first stage of Level 4 in Kirby's Blowout Blast.

Layout

Preparing to spit at some passing Soarars.

The stage begins along a series of high platforms, with gaps between them that Kirby will need to jump over as he makes his way to the right. After a while, Kirby will be stopped by an enemy ambush on a square platform with a pole in the middle. Kabu and Bronto Burts appear in this ambush. Once they are cleared, the path continues to the right across more isolated platforms. A short while later, another ambush takes place, this time involving Soarars. A third ambush takes place shortly after on a narrower platform, then a fourth on a wider platform. Finally, after hopping up more platforms, following the path of Score Coins, Kirby reaches the fifth and last ambush. Clearing this completes the stage.

• All the enemies in this stage appear via ambush sections, so there are many opportunities to look for places where bigger enemy combos can be scored.

Level 4-1EX is the first stage of Level 4EX. It has the same layout as Level 4-1, but features a different array of enemies and score coin positions. The main differences in layout are as follows:

• More enemies are added in areas outside of ambush sections, particularly Scarfies and Gordos.
• Gordos are added to some ambush sections.
• Ambushes in general have different enemy line-ups.

Tips

The following are tips for how to obtain a Platinum trophy on this stage:

• Time is fairly tight on this stage, so Kirby needs to move quickly to make the Speed Clear.
• Getting high enemy combos is necessary for Platinum. One place to get this is during the third ambush on the narrow walkway, if Kirby allows the flying enemies near the end to bunch up.
