Hi there Junethebest, and welcome to WiKirby! We hope you'll enjoy editing here; check out our help guide for editing tips and information on do's and don'ts. Also, please keep in mind that all edits are subject to moderation until you become autoconfirmed (5 edits and 24 hours)! If you need any help, just contact one of the administrators. Thanks! — The WiKirby Staff

Regarding your signature[edit]

Greetings. I noticed your signature is a little broken. You may want to try and fix that by creating page User:Junethebest/sig. If you put "[[User:Junethebest|Junethebest]] ([[User talk:Junethebest|talk]])" in that page, you will have a basic signature.--kirb 15:30, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Without the nowiki tags, obviously. Superbound (talk) 17:25, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Regarding the Daroach page[edit]

Greetings, Junethebest. You seem to be fairly new to this wiki stuff, so let me explain briefly why your edit was reverted. The Daroach quotes are currently being worked on on another page by one of our administrators. I reverted your edit explaining this in the edit summary. We always provide a reason in the edit summary when we revert things, so please check that before trying to edit again. There was nothing wrong in principle with your edit, but since that's a thing that's already being worked on, you should focus your efforts elsewhere on the wiki. That's all. --Samwell (talk) 17:29, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

You can check edit summaries in history tab (more info) or in Special:RecentChanges. Superbound (talk) 17:31, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
Also, you can reply by editing this page with reply, rather than creating an empty edit to an unrelated page. As of the question, you can check WiKirby:Maintenance, for example. Superbound (talk) 17:36, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Block[edit]

Greetings, Junethebest. I'm informing you here that you are blocked for a day for continuously failing to listen to us on this page or in the edit summaries. Regarding the Infinity Jump page, when you made your first edit to it, I made an adjustment that placed your piece of information within that main paragraph of the page, and said as much in the edit summary. You must have thought that your edit was being undone, but you didn't pay attention to the page to see your edit was incorporated instead and tried to add the sentence again. I undid your edit explaining this to you, but you did not listen, and kept trying to re-add the now redundant sentence.

You really really need to learn to read edit summaries and use talk pages for discussion. Again, I suspect you are new to this, so your block is a relatively light one, and will not go on your record unless things get worse from here. Please respond to me on this page showing you understand, and I will lift your block early. I'll be keeping watch on this page for your response. --Samwell (talk) 18:01, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Ok, Sorry about that for real. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Junethebest (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments by typing ~~~~!
While we're here, let me make you aware of some things, so you can have an easier time here on the wiki, and hopefully in doing so, I will not have to block you again. Please keep in mind the following bits of information:
  • If your edits are reverted or changed by another user, do not immediately try to re-add them back in as they were. Instead, go to the page's history and read the edit summary, or check the recent changes page to find it there if it's recent enough. Either way, you should be able to access a page that lets you see the differences between revisions, which will show you exactly what changed. This is especially important if the change was made by an administrator+ such as myself.
  • The reason you were blocked today was because you were not listening to us on your talk page or edit summaries. Please be careful to read those when they come in before making any further attempts to edit on the wiki. If you are finding communicating in this way difficult, I highly suggest you join our Discord server so you can talk to us in real time.
  • When using a talk page, always sign with your username and date. This can be easily done by typing in four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your posts.
Do you understand all this? Please speak up if any of it does not make sense. --Samwell (talk) 18:33, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Yes, I understand.----Junethebest 13:41 22 January 2021

Okay. I'll take your word for it for the moment. You will shortly be unblocked. We'll see you around the wiki. --Samwell (talk) 18:43, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Okay. Thank you.----Junethebest 13:50, 22 January 2021

Proposal voting[edit]

Greetings. Just letting you know that I have removed your vote on the proposals page. Voting on proposals is only open to veteran users on the wiki, i.e. those who have attained Autopatrol status or above. You are still new here, so you have not attained that status yet. --Samwell (talk) 02:47, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Placing votes and signing comments[edit]

Hello June, if you want to make an automatic numbered list like that,

  1. Item 1
  2. Item 2
  3. Item 3

simply put # at the start,

#Item 1
#Item 2
#Item 3

just make sure there is no line break between them, as it breaks it. Additionally, please sign your comments with ~~~~ (without <code> and <nowiki> tags of course), as it's much simpler nad easier than doing the code manually, and also consistent. If you have any troubles, you can message me or other staff member for help, we surely will. Good night, sleep well. Superbound (talk) 17:44, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Greetings![edit]

Hello!

Thank you for voting in the election.

If you aren't aware, there are multiple help pages that can teach you the basics on how to edit the wiki, such as using the preview button. I recommend reading over them when you can.

With respect to the election, please vote using the method required on the page itself.

* Add your vote by using the code # ~~~~. Remember to add a reason for your support or opposition.

This will add a link to your user page and a timestamp standard with the rest of the wiki.

Thank you again for participating, Tacopill (talk) 12:52, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

Regarding recent edits[edit]

Greetings, Junethebest. I know you're trying to contribute to the wiki, but it seems like you are having trouble finding meaningful things to add, and I don't think it's a good idea for you to be adding points to pages if you aren't sure about them. Instead of making these unsure changes, I would recommend you either ask beforehand using the talk page for an article you want to edit, or join the Discord server so you can ask us directly. You can find a link to our Discord server here if you are interested. Either way, I'd like you to start talking to us more beforehand, because I do not want to keep undoing the edits you are making. --Samwell (talk) 16:37, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Ok. I'll tell you in my talk page before I edit.---- Junethebest 12:41 26 April 2021 (Us Easteren Time)
No no, you need to use the talk page for the article you want to edit, not this one here. Also, it's easier to sign your posts by using four tildes (~~~~). --Samwell (talk) 16:43, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Regarding your block[edit]

Hello Junethebest. I regret to inform that after discussion with the rest of the staff, we decided to restrict accounts on WiKirby to only those who are 13 years old or older. As such, I had no choice but to block you, with the expiration date being in your 13th birthday.

I just want to make it clear that this choice or block was not directly at your specifically, but you sadly ended up getting caught up in the middle. You can continue to browse the wiki and, if you choose, edit the it outside of your account, but due to how we gather information in this site, we cannot allow you to continue to use your user account until you're 13.

I know this may come to you suddenly, but we made this decision with the best intentions. I wish you good luck with whatever you wish to do next. - Gigi (talkedits) 23:23, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
