— Wise Waddle Dee, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land
|
Wise Waddle Dee is a Waddle Dee who wears glasses and a black scholar's cap and sits on a bench in Waddle Dee Town in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, first appearing there after Kirby has cleared the level Everbay Coast. He serves as a source of information for Kirby, and will tell him about various things when approached, including where blueprints that Kirby missed can be found, the player's personal records, and general tips. If the console is connected to the internet and the player owns a Nintendo Switch Online membership, he can also provide worldwide records, such as which Copy Abilities other players are using, combined totals of every player's stats (such as the number of Pop Flowers bloomed, number of Waddle Dees saved, etc.), and world records of Colosseum Cups, boss defeat times, Flash Fishing, and Waddle Dee Café: Help Wanted!. He can be seen with an open book at his feet, which he explains is the source of his information. If Kirby listens to the Wise Waddle Dee enough times, the latter will give a figure of himself to Kirby as a reward.
