Kirby gained the mysterious Mouthful Mode ability after he flew through that vortex... Now he can stuff an entire metal arch into his mouth! This form turns you into a graceful glider that soars on the wind. Steer through tight spaces, and use your Spin Tackle to swat away enemies. Enjoy your flight!
— Gotcha figure description for Arch-Mouth Kirby from Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Arch Mouth is a Mouthful Mode that involves Kirby wrapping himself around a big metal archway in order to take control of it, allowing him to transform into a glider and fly through the air. During these flying sections, Kirby cannot discard the arch, and constantly moves forward in a similar manner to rail flyers like Star Fox. While flying, Kirby can steer left, right, up, or down, and can attack using the "Spin Tackle". This move is required for him to defeat enemies without taking damage or bust through obstacles.
