The Black Mirror resembles the [[Dimension Mirror]] from ''[[Kirby & The Amazing Mirror]]'' and ''[[Kirby: Triple Deluxe]]'', but bears a sharper, metallic black frame. It lacks wings, and instead features large spikes protruding from either side of the frame. Its interior is likewise a very dark hue, and seems to only poorly reflect light. This gives the mirror a stronger resemblance to [[Dark Mind]], and King D-Mind especially.

The Black Mirror is controlled by King D-Mind, the king of darkness who resembles a cross between [[Shadow Dedede]] and Dark Mind. The king used it to influence [[Taranza]], causing him to wreak havoc on the [[Dream Kingdom]] by unleashing all sorts of monsters. Specifically, Taranza's desires to bring back [[Queen Sectonia]] using the mirror caused the extra-dimensional road to another dimension to begin collapsing, in turn, bringing [[Parallel Susie]] and [[Parallel Landia]] forth from the mirror.
