|In the beginning of the story, Chef Kawasaki is nervously reading a newspaper as Meta Knight comes into his restaurant. Meta Knight requests a cake of utmost delectability, for the king of [[Chiffon Star]], [[Merengue XIII]]. Upon hearing the planet's name, Chef Kawasaki feels strangely grim. He shows Meta Knight the newspaper, revealing that the princess of Chiffon Star—[[Princess Marona]]—has gone missing. As Meta Knight sets out for Chiffon Star, he tells Chef Kawasaki to bake the cake anyway, because he will save her before the king's birthday party. In the end, Chef Kawasaki comes to the king's birthday party and brings the cake he prepared. Merengue XIII finds it to be just as great as Chiffon Star's cakes, which flatters Chef Kawasaki. | |In the beginning of the story, Chef Kawasaki is nervously reading a newspaper as Meta Knight comes into his restaurant.
