Kirby Pupupu Train
Kirby Pupupu Train (星のカービィ プププトレイン, Hoshi no kābyi pupuputorein) is a series of real-world Kirby events themed around trains. The events happened yearly from 2016 to 2020, at various times in the year. Most of the events were located within Japan Rail stations, and featured train and Kirby themed merchandise for sale in person, as well as online. Since 2020, there have not been any events.
Events
2016
The first Pupupu Train event was held in December 2016, in two locations. The Tokyo location was held at the First Avenue Tokyo Station shopping gallery, from December 9th to December 26th. The Osaka location was held at a Daily Yamazaki convenience store in a MBS TV building, from December 15th to December 26th. Some merchandise was available for purchase online at the TBS iShop.

2017
The second event was first held on April 2017. The Toyko venue was held at the Ichiban Plaza from April 20th to May 10th. The Osaka venue was held at the Mainichi Broadcasting Headquarters from June 16th to June 26th. The Nagoya venue was held at the "10th Floor Event Hall" of the JR Nagoya Takashimaya from July 20th to July 24th. There was also an Encore Sale period that started on August 10th which took place at the TBS Store Tokyo Station. These events also had some of the merchandise available online, including two items only available online.

2018
The third event was first held in April 2018. The Tokyo location was held in a shopping center in Tokyo Station from April 27th to May 9th. The Osaka location was once again held in the MBS TV building from June 15th to June 25th. The Nagoya location was held in Nagoya Station from July 24th to 30th. Like the previous event, this event had some merchandise available online, and two new online-only items. In addition, there were three items only available at each specific venue in-person.

The 2019 events were all held in the same buildings as the 2018 events. The Tokyo location was held from September 13th to 26th. The Osaka location was held from October 11th to 22nd. The Nagoya location was held from August 14th to 20th.

2020
The 2020 events were held in the same buildings as the 2018 and 2019 events. The Tokyo location was held from July 10th to 23rd. The Osaka location was held from August 19th to 30th. The Nagoya location was held from July 29th to August 3rd. Unlike the previous events, all of the prices include tax, and the vast majority of items are available both online and at the venues.
