'''Iron''' is a [[Copy Ability]] that [[Kirby (anime character)|Kirby]] only uses in one episode of ''[[Kirby: Right Back at Ya!]]'', in the episode [[Air-Ride-in-Style - Part II]]. It was featured in the episode as its two forms were among the winners of the ''[[Kirby of the Stars: New Ability Contest]]'' in Japan. However, as it was used in a dream sequence alongside other winning abilities, its [[Continuity|canonicity]] is questionable. Kirby gains this ability after [[inhale|inhaling]] a metal flail from one of the [[Air Riders]].

Notably, the two forms of Iron Kirby were submitted by two different contestants. The initial snake suit (originally named ツタンカービィ or Tutankirby, a portmanteau of [[wikipedia:Tutankhamun]] and Kirby) was submitted by Yoichi Muramoto from Tokyo Prefecture,<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20031223180345/http://www.hicbc.com/tv/kirby/illust/08/01.htm Wayback Machine archive of original Tutankirby submission]</ref> and the iron ball form (originally named Metal Kirby) was submitted by Yuki Oishi from Shimane prefecture.<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20031002014655/http://hicbc.com/tv/kirby/illust/08/02.htm Wayback Machine archive of Metal Kirby submission]</ref>

==Appearance==
When acquiring the Iron ability, Kirby gains a yellow metal suit that covers his body, leaving openings only for his limbs and the upper portion of his face. On his head sits a striped yellow and green headband which bears a golden cobra head on the front. He also gains a short staff with the head of a cobra.

Similar to the [[Stone]] ability, Iron Kirby can transform into a solid statue of himself to attack.

==Powers==
With the Iron copy ability, Kirby can deflect attacks using his serpent staff, and cause his enemy to lose the weapon they are using from the recoil. Kirby can also attack by transforming into a large metal statue similar to [[Stone-Stone]] and [[Metal]] and rolling after his opponent to defeat them.
