Whispy Woods is encountered twice in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and thrice in its successor Super Kirby Clash. Both games treat Whispy Woods the exact same way, with the fights being almost indistinguishable. The first fight is much the same as it was in the original Sub-Game, but later fights throw Gordos into the mix, and make his leaping attacks quicker and more unpredictable.

In Team Kirby Clash Deluxe specifically, Whispy serves the role of the second Ordeal in his first encounter, with his defeat unlocking the Volcano region.
