The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy is the boss battle theme of Galacta Knight, first appearing in Kirby Super Star Ultra. It has been remixed in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby: Planet Robobot. It's one of the heaviest songs in Kirby franchise.
Notable Appearances
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Galacta Knight debuts as the final boss of Meta Knightmare Ultra in Kirby Super Star Ultra. He is also fought by Kirby in The True Arena.
The original version of The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy is composed in a heavy metal style, featuring distorted electric guitar and rapid drum beats. It's included as Track 31 in Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
Galacta Knight returns as a surprise boss, only fought in The True Arena of Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
In his first phase, Landia's boss battle theme plays.
In his second phase, his theme finally plays, but now remixed in a techno style. It's titled 異世界からの戦士 (The Warrior from Another World) in the Japanese soundtrack. It's arranged by Jun Ishikawa.
Kirby: Planet Robobot
Galacta Knight returns again as the final boss of Meta Knightmare Returns in Kirby: Planet Robobot. He is also fought by Kirby in The True Arena.
In his first phase, Grand Doomer's boss battle theme plays.
In his second phase, his theme finally plays, but now remixed in an even more techno style. It's titled 時巡る銀河最強の戦士 (The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy That Patrols the Time) in the Japanese soundtrack. It's also arranged by Jun Ishikawa.
Kirby Star Allies
Galacta Knight appears at the end of Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! in Kirby Star Allies to serve as the final boss. However, before he gets the chance, a strange butterfly lands on his lance and absorbs him, creating a new swordsman called Morpho Knight. As a result, Galacta Knight is never fought in Star Allies. However, Kirby's Return to Dream Land's version of his theme is played during his cutscene. The full track can still be listened to as Music 140 (as of Version 2.0.0) in Star Allies Sound Room.
His Japanese Boss Caption on his boss battle splash screen, 時巡る戦士 (Time Patrol Warrior), is a reference to the Japanese title of his theme in Planet Robobot remix.
