Antlers[1] (also referred to as Bugs[2]) summoned enemies that debuted in Kirby: Triple Deluxe which appear only during the fights with Queen Sectonia. They come in four different sizes, with each size being tougher and longer to inhale than before.
Each Antler, regardless of type, resembles a lavishly decorated anthropomorphic ant soldier with a magic scepter and a shield. Their shield is largely cosmetic, however, as it will not protect them from projectiles. They slowly approach their target, then swing their mace into the ground to attack.
Antler types
The following are the types of Antler which can be summoned, in increasing order of size and power:
Image | Description |
---|---|
White Antler,[1] a small-sized Antler which can be inhaled quickly. Summoned in groups of 4 during Phase 2 or groups of 5 during Phase 3 of the fight with Queen Sectonia, each of them can cast a short cone of ice from their weapons. When inhaled, they give the Ice ability. | |
Green Antler,[1] a medium-sized Antler which can be inhaled with difficulty. Summoned in groups of 3 during Phase 2 or groups of 4 during Phase 3 of the fight with Queen Sectonia, they shoot out small energy balls from their weapons. When inhaled, they give the Spark ability. | |
Red Antler,[1] a large-sized Antler summoned in groups of 2 during Phase 2 of the fight with Queen Sectonia that can shoot a fireball from its weapon. They give the Fire ability when inhaled. | |
Lord Antler,[3] a very large Antler which takes a long time to inhale due to its size. Summoned on its own during Phase 1 or in pairs during Phase 2 of the fight with Soul of Sectonia. Lord Antler can fire several beam blasts from its weapon. It gives no Copy Ability when inhaled. |
Trivia
- Lord Antler bears a Graeco-Roman style crest on its head, and it is the only Antler type with different color eyes. It is also distinguished from the other "Bugs" in the Kirby of the Stars Character Encyclopedia.
