Barracu resembles both in name and in shape a [[wikipedia:Barracuda|barracuda fish]]. Its sharp teeth will latch onto anyone it bumps into, and the player will need to shake the [[Wii]] Remote (or spin the Control Stick in ''[[Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe]]'') to allow [[Kirby]] to escape and take less [[damage]].

Barracu does not yield any [[Copy Ability]] when swallowed.
