Cawcun is an obscure bird-like enemy from Kirby's Dream Land, and Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is found in extra game modes in both titles - replacing Puffy in Kirby's Dream Land - and behaves in much the same way as that enemy, though it can move more quickly.

Appearance and behaviTemplate:Or

Cawcun resembles a pelican, though with a much more compact body plan. It does not have a well-defined head, as its eyes and beak seem to sprout directly from its body. It bears white plumage, with well-defined wings and tail.

Cawcun is known for sweeping flying motions, able to move at many different speeds. It is also capable of firing a triple spray of bullets from its mouth, though it does not always do this.

Game appearances

Kirby's Dream Land

Cawcun appears exclusively in the Extra Game, appearing mainly in Bubbly Clouds in place of Puffy. Here, it can occasionally be seen firing bullets from its mouth, though it still mainly attacks by collision. Cawcun is worth 600 points when defeated.

Kirby Super Star Ultra

Cawcun appears in Revenge of the King, in the Illusion Islands stage. It no longer fires bullets from its mouth, but it can be seen perched on the ground, flying into the air when it spots Kirby. Once it gets moving, Cawcun can travel quite quickly in the air.
