“ | The giant statue, Colossal Kabu, waits in the Ruins, Two huge enemies attack! | ” | — flavor text from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe |
Colossal Kabu is an enemy that debuted in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. It is much larger and tougher than a standard Kabu, though it acts much the same.
Colossal Kabu attacks by sweeping about the stage, which it can do in a number of different ways. Additionally, it has the ability to phase in and out of existence, reappearing in the air in a different location, then falling down, squishing any Kirbys that might be underneath. Its movements can be difficult to track at first, but a little experience makes this a simple enough foe to defeat.
Colossal Kabu is encountered twice--first in a tag-team with Colossal Waddle Dee, then in a team with Colossal Waddle Dee and Colossal Hot Head.
