Here's how to create a signature:

Base Creation

1. Create a page for your signature here.

2. Edit the page and insert this text:

Username

, replacing "Username" with your username. Like That

Yourusername

Customization

If you want your name to be colored or have a different font, insert this text instead of the text in number two:

[[User:Username|
Username]]

If you want to link to your talk page and your contributions page, insert this text after the text in numbers two or three:

(talk · edits)

Once you have the signature created the way you want it, save the edit. Then go to your preferences page.

Preparing for Usage

Once you are at your preferences page, change the text in the "Signature" box to this:

    • Also, while in your preferences page, click to "view signatures as wiki text"

Usage

Now that your signature is set up, know how to work it:

Code Turns into Appears as
~~~  User (Talk)
~~~~  00:00, 1 January 2000 (UTC) User (Talk) 00:00, 1 January 2000 (UTC)
~~~~~ 00:00, 1 January 2000 (UTC) 00:00, 1 January 2000 (UTC)
