Whispy Woods (known in shorthand as Whispy) is an anthropomorphic tree-like entity, having become one of the most iconic characters appearing in the Kirby series. Starting with Kirby's Dream Land, the first game in said series, he appears in a majority of titles, as well as the anime, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. In the games in which he appears, Whispy is usually faced as a Boss, often being the first one encountered. As such, he is easily recognizable as part of the Kirby series, even to those outside of the fandom.
