Mecha-Kracko[Japanese title] is a robotic variant of Kracko, that appears as a boss in [[Kirby: Squeak Squad|Template:KSS KMA]]. It is built and controlled by Doc, though this is not revealed until halfway through the boss fight.

Physical appearance

Mecha-Kracko looks like a metal box with yellow horns that conduct electricity and cannons sticking out of it. In the center is a green-irised eye that would eventually reveal a cockpit where Doc hides. Mecha-Kracko's cannons release a smoky fog to hide the fact that it is a robot.

Game appearances

Kirby: Squeak Squad

Mecha-Kracko first appears as the boss of Cushy Cloud in Stage 6 of [[Kirby: Squeak Squad|Template:KSS KMA]]. When Kirby reaches the boss arena, Daroach summons Mecha-Kracko and flies off the arena, leaving Kirby to deal with the mechanical cloud.

In his boss battle, Mecha-Kracko has two phases, each represented by two stamina bars. During the first phase, Mecha-Kracko attacks similarly to a typical Kracko, by charging electric sparks at Kirby and charging up after him. Like Kracko, Mecha-Kracko can summon enemies, such as Starmen, Waddle Dees, and Waddle Doos.

Once the first stamina bar is depleted, Mecha-Kracko falters and reveals that Doc is the one driving the mechanical cloud, within its eye. it will destroy the ground Kirby is standing on and replace it with gaps in some parts. In this second phase, Mecha-Kracko also gains the ability to surround itself with electricty, and shoot electricity down towards Kirby.

Kirby: Star Allies

Mecha-Kracko appears in Kirby Star Allies as a cameo portrayed in the Celebration Picture "The Great Labyrinth Battle".

Trivia

  • Mecha-Kracko looks similar to Kracko's Revenge and Space Kracko, two other dark-colored Krackos.
  • Mecha-Kracko is referenced in Kracko's pause screen description on Single Player (Very Hard difficulty) in Kirby Fighters Deluxe.[1]
  • As Doc and Mecha-Kracko appear seperate from each other in the Kirby Star Allies Celebration Picture "The Great Labyrinth Battle", it is unknown who is controlling Mecha-Kracko in the picture.
