Missile[1] is an item which appears in the Top Ride mode of Kirby Air Ride. It appears randomly during standard races, dropping onto the course. When touched by a racer, that racer gains a missile, which they will hold until releasing it. Once released, the missile will fly around the track on a set course until approaching an enemy racer. From there, it will attempt to home in on that racer, exploding and knocking the racer away if it hits. If somehow the racer dodges the missile, it will fly ahead and seek another target. This process will continue until it hits something.

Missile can be shaken off by using a Quick Spin, and will also be removed if the racer is hit, falls into a stage hazard, or fails to use it within 8 seconds.
