Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a fighting game for the Wii and the third game in the Super Smash Bros. series. Like the other games in the series, it is a cross-over between various video game franchises and involves three playable characters from the Kirby series and several others in forms such as stickers, trophies, and attacks, one involving throwing either Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos or Gordos at opponents.
Characters
Super Smash Bros. Brawl features 35 playable characters, not including transformations, keeping all but four characters from the previous game and adding many newcomers.
Masterpieces
Super Smash Bros. Brawl introduced Masterpieces, a game mode which allowed gamers to play past games for small amounts of time. Included from the Kirby series was Kirby's Adventure.
Items
Super Smash Bros. Brawl included all Kirby items from previous games, such as the Star Rod from Kirby's Adventure and Nightmare in Dream Land. It also introduced a new feature, known as Assist Trophies. Among the characters available from Assist Trophies was Knuckle Joe from Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
