“ | Thudds fall from above and try to crush Kirby. | ” | — Kirby: Canvas Curse instruction booklet (NA print), page 16 |
Thudd is a silver block-like enemy which first appeared in Kirby: Canvas Curse. It has a face similar to that of a Kabu and glowing eyes. It is indestructible, so no matter how much Kirby attacks it, it does not take damage. Thudds come in three sizes, and their only task is to drop when Kirby draws near, dealing him damage on impact. As such, they are best avoided.
Game appearances[edit]
Kirby: Canvas Curse[edit]
Thudd makes its first and only appearance as an enemy in Kirby: Canvas Curse. It vies to crush Kirby from above whenever he approaches. Unlike many other enemies, Thudd cannot be stopped by Rainbow Lines, so it will need to be artfully avoided instead.
Locations[edit]
In Kirby: Canvas Curse, Thudd appears in the following locations:

Notably Thudd S and Thudd M only appear in Contrast Cave, as all other stages listed above only have Thudd L.
Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]
In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Stone Kirby occasionally transforms into a Thudd statue upon using his Copy Ability.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]
In Kirby: Triple Deluxe, a medium Thudd makes an appearance as a collectable Keychain.
