Whip Kirby wears a red leather cowboy hat adorned with light blue stars. The brim has a yellow flower-like design and a brown thread keeping it together. [[Kirby]] attacks by lashing out his whip in several ways. The ability can be used to obtain items across solid walls, as Kirby's whip can go through them. This allows him to reach otherwise unreachable [[switch]]es and [[Point Star|star]]s. Kirby can also use the whip to grab enemies and items from a distance, and then toss the former around to defeat them, including tossing them at other enemies to deal collateral damage.
