Featured Picture Nomination
What a Featured Picture is:
  1. A high quality image that is at least 600 pixels in width and 400 in height.
  2. Sound of format. (no improvement notice templates are present)
  3. An image with complete documentation with a source (where applicable).
  4. Uses the most current version of the Aboutfile template.
  5. Properly licensed.
  6. Properly categorized.
  7. Used in at least one article.
Voting Regulations
  1. Voting is currently open to all registered users.
  2. All votes must be signed with signatures (type four tildes (~~~~.)) Unsigned votes are automatically negated, regardless of any points made.
  3. An image will become automatically featured if it receives five (5) valid votes to support it and two (2) days have passed since the nomination.
  4. After two (2) weeks of being nominated, an image will be featured if it does not have more opposition than support. (this means a tie or zero votes will still result in a feature)
  5. An image will fail to become featured if it receives five (5) valid oppositions.
  6. There may be no more than six (6) nominated images at one time. Do not add any more than this.
  7. The editor who puts the image up for nomination may not vote on it.
  8. Please add all oppositions/supports on a new line beginning with a number/pound/hash sign (#) to automatically create an alphanumeric list.
  9. Keep in mind that any comments made in support of the image will be displayed alongside the image on the front page, so make sure they're good comments!
  10. All votes with comments perceived by the staff as hostile or rude to another user will be removed. Be civil and polite.
  11. Staff members reserve the right to negate any votes without notification of the voter if they are found to be in violation of any of these rules or if suspected of trolling.
Feature length
Once an image has been featured, it must stay on the front page for at least one (1) week before being supplanted by another image.

  2. Agree, it is colorful, it features the main points of Forgotten Land which are: The blue Bat thingy, the Fox thingies, the chaotic flora, the Shiver buildings, and the confused Kirby. It's all in! I think that this would look very good on the main page.
    Though, I think that if a image representing Forgotten Land would be chosen, maybe the key art would be more appropriate, but that doesn't mean this one falls behind (I mean, the key art doesn't even have the Bat thingy!). -Kirbeat (talk) 02:53, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
  3. I do like this piece and think it'd work quite well on the front page. ColTemplate:Orful images always do nicely when it comes to representing the more light-hearted side of the Kirby series, and it meets all requirements needed for an image to be featured.   • To address @Kirbeat's suggestion - that key art will stay on the front page as long as until the next game is announced. Featured pictures are often illustrations and do not "represent" particular games, characters and such. ⁠–⁠Wiz (talk · edits) 03:29, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
