"The King and the Sun" is a musical theme in the Kirby series composed by Jun Ishikawa. The track was first used in Kirby Super Star Ultra, serving as the ending musical theme of Revenge of the King which plays during the credits sequence. It has since been heard only two more times in the series, not often being associated with King Dedede.

The King and the Sun sounds very similar to that of My Friend and the Sunset
