The Kirby Submarine is a transformation that Kirby can undergo in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It transforms him into a small submarine with a periscope, two red window frames, and a rotor.
While in submarine form, Kirby can move freely about in the water, and can fire torpedoes. These torpedoes can be guided to their target, both in and out of the water, using the Rainbow Rope. Using a Star Dash temporarily empowers the torpedoes, allowing them to blast through Metal Blocks.
This transformation is used only in a few places in the story mode.
Trivia
- During the transformation, Kirby is first repainted to resemble Kine, referencing the fact that the Kirby Submarine, like Kine, specializes in traversing water.
