Editor's Picks! File:Ultimate Choice Title.jpg The Ultimate Choice is a Sub-Game present in Kirby Star Allies, where selected characters defeat a series of bosses, similar to The Arena. It is unlocked after Story Mode along with Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! and Heroes in Another Dimension. It has two major differences compared to The Arena which are having a scoring system and difficulty levels. As such, it can be seen as effectively nine different Arenas rolled into a single game. Completing this mode on the Soul Melter difficulty setting is required for 100% completion of Kirby Star Allies. Completing Soul Melter EX is required to 'crown' the save file. Much like its counterparts in previous titles, The Ultimate Choice is a boss endurance mode with rest areas in-between each fight. Bosses and enemy ambushes are encountered in a set order depending on the difficulty chosen. The Ultimate Choice also features a character select screen much like Helper to Hero in Template:KSSU, and keeps separate scores for each one. The player can choose between Kirby and most of his Copy Abilities, any of the recruitable allies, or any of the currently available Dream Friends to play as. CPU or human-controlled allies can also join the player for a team of up to four, with their individual damage output reduced to prevent bosses from going down too quickly. Read more...
