"Quiet Forest" has a rather slow tempo compared to most of the other themes in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and has more of a lullaby tone to it. The key of the theme sounds reminiscent of that of the C Lydian mode for the majority of its tune. This song also has instruments that sound similar to woodwinds, xylophones, and bells, the two latter instruments acting as the percussion of the theme. Later in the song, when it gets a bit faster, some vocals can be heard as well.
