Snack Attack - Part I is the 52nd (45th in the 4Kids broadcast) episode of the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! series. In this episode, Gengu and Tuggle attempt to dump their poorly-selling merchandise outside of Cappy Town, but are caught by Tiff, who suggests they combine the products into a new item instead of littering. They do so, causing a new fad of figurine collecting in town, which soon gets the attention of King Dedede. After serving time in jail for attempting to steal one of the rarer figurines, King Dedede decides to get revenge by ordering a set of monster figurines from Night Mare Enterprises and having Gengu and Tuggle inadvertently sell them to the people. After being instructed to set these new figurines out in the moonlight, they grow in size and come to life, then proceed to terrorize Dream Land. The story then ends on a cliffhanger which is followed up on by the next episode; Snack Attack - Part II.

The episode begins in a field outside of Cappy Town in the dead of night. Gengu and Tuggle are quietly moving boxes to toss into a rubbish heap out in the field. As they do this, however, they are caught by Tiff who berates them for littering in a no-dump zone. Gengu and Tuggle admit that they were dumping merchandise that was not selling at their stores away from town in hopes that nobody would notice. Tiff insists that instead of doing this, they try new creative ways to sell these products. She picks up two in particular fro the heap - chocolate capsules and mini action figures - and suggests they combine the products into one. Gengu and Tuggle become enthusiastic about the idea, to the point where they forget about Tiff's plead not to litter the countryside if it does not pan out. The next day, Gengu and Tuggle promote the new combined product to the kids in Cappy Town. Tuff tries it out, and soon becomes eager to buy more in hopes of collecting the figures inside which resemble Star Warriors. As the other kids join in, they toss the leftover chocolate to Kirby as the shopkeepers celebrate their success.

As the other kids join in, they toss the leftover chocolate to Kirby as the shopkeepers celebrate their success.

The kids soon become so enamored with these new treats that they try to pressure their parents into letting them buy more, though it becomes clear they do not want the candy, but the potential toy inside, leaving Kirby to gobble up more and more discarded chocolate. As the kids fight over the rare ones, some of the adults watching the fad get involved and soon find themselves stuck in the craze as well, though they are too embarrassed to publicly admit this. Included is Escargoon, who brings some of the figure capsules back to Castle Dedede only to have his collection discovered by King Dedede. Dedede decides to jump into the fad as well and heads to Tuggle's store to get his own figurine, but the kids mock his naivete after he shows off a common trooper. Enraged at this, King Dedede decides to buy all of the capsules left in the store under threat of armed force. King Dedede then jealously opens up all the capsules outside of the store and forces the kids to watch while the Waddle Dees guard him. However, Gengu and Tuggle did not sell him all of their figurines after all and brag about their business practices, but are soon berated by Tiff for their shady ethics. Despite this, they continue selling the capsules.

To increase the fervor of the figure craze, Gengu and Tuggle release a new line of figures to find, including one of Meta Knight. Tiff complains to the real knight about this exploitation of his image, but Meta Knight simply laughs it off. Meanwhile, after failing to find a Meta Knight figurine of his own, King Dedede decides to head to Iro's house at night to steal his. However, the King is caught immediately by Chief Bookem and thrown in jail. From here, Chief Bookem apprehends the Meta Knight figurine from Iro, claiming it to be an important piece of evidence, and King Dedede calls him out for this. After returning to the castle, King Dedede decides he has had enough with the figurine craze, and from there plans to settle the score with Cappy Town. He dials up Night Mare Enterprises and asks them to send him some mini-figures of their own, then sends them to Tuggle's shop for them to sell, not knowing the figures inside are monsters.

The next day, the new figures go on sale at Tuggle's store, and Tiff joins in the crowd to see what the craze is all about. As she is teased by Tuff over her intentions, Tiff starts to realize that she too is starting to get hooked by the concept, and becomes visibly embarrassed when she checks the figure she bought. At this moment, King Dedede and Escargoon brag about the figures and nearly give away their secret, which leads Tiff to become suspicious of their motives. She asks Gengu and Tuggle where they got the new figurines, and they tell her the new toys fell from the sky. Tiff scolds them for selling toys from a dubious source, but they rebut by saying she would have been mad at them for dumping them like before. Tiff then runs into the front end of the store and pleads with the Cappies to get rid of the new toys, but they do not listen to her.

That night, a special Channel DDD news section airs where King Dedede and Escargoon explain that if the figures sold that day are left in the moonlight, they will grow super-sized, which leads Tokkori and the people of Cappy Town to leave their figures on their windowsills overnight. As they sleep, the figures start to grow and come to life, then proceed to attack the Dream Landers all at once. As Kirby and Tokkori are roundly beaten up by the figures, a narrator chimes in to remind the audience to tune in for the next episode where the story will be concluded; in Snack Attack - Part II.

Snack Attack - Part I is the 52nd (45th in the 4Kids broadcast) episode of the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! series. In this episode, Gangu and Tuggle attempt to dump their poorly-selling merchandise outside of Cappy Town, but are caught by Tiff, who suggests they combine the products into a new item instead of littering. They do so, causing a new fad of figurine collecting in town, which soon gets the attention of King Dedede. After serving time in jail for attempting to steal one of the rarer figurines, King Dedede decides to get revenge by ordering a set of monster figurines from Night Mare Enterprises and having Gangu and Tuggle inadvertently sell them to the people. After being instructed to set these new figurines out in the moonlight, they grow in size and come to life, then proceed to terrorize Dream Land. The story then ends on a cliffhanger which is followed up on by the next episode; Snack Attack - Part II.

This is the first episode of Season 3. This is also the first episode in the series to feature Tuggle in a leading role.

Plot synopsis[edit]

Tuff and the Cappy kids get hooked onto the new figurines while Kirby eats the chocolate capsules they came in.

The episode begins in a field outside of Cappy Town in the dead of night. Gangu and Tuggle are quietly moving boxes to toss into a rubbish heap out in the field. As they do this, however, they are caught by Tiff who berates them for littering in a no-dump zone. Gangu and Tuggle admit that they were dumping merchandise that was not selling at their stores away from town in hopes that nobody would notice. Tiff insists that instead of doing this, they try new creative ways to sell these products. She picks up two in particular from the heap - chocolate capsules and mini action figures - and suggests they combine the products into one. Gangu and Tuggle become enthusiastic about the idea, to the point where they forget about Tiff's plead not to litter the countryside if it does not pan out. The next day, Gangu and Tuggle promote the new combined product to the kids in Cappy Town. Tuff tries it out, and soon becomes eager to buy more in hopes of collecting the figures inside which resemble Star Warriors. As the other kids join in, they toss the leftover chocolate to Kirby as the shopkeepers celebrate their success.

However, Gangu and Tuggle did not sell him all of their figurines after all and brag about their business practices, but are soon berated by Tiff for their shady ethics. Despite this, they continue selling the capsules.

King Dedede is jailed by Chief Bookem for trying to steal Iro's figure.

To increase the fervor of the figure craze, Gangu and Tuggle release a new line of figures to find, including one of Meta Knight.

The Figure Monsters come to life in the moonlight.

She asks Gangu and Tuggle where they got the new figurines, and they tell her the new toys fell from the sky.
