Springy Hand Land is a Battle Stage that appears in Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Kirby Fighters 2. It is based on Lollipop Land - Stage 3 from Kirby: Triple Deluxe, using its general appearance and music.
Layout[edit]
The stage's main floor is flat, with two thin floors on the sides. The main hazard is six Springy Hands in the middle, which shoot out towards the screen in randomly-chosen patterns, launching any fighters in front of them into the fourth wall and dealing 48 damage to them. These hands can also break Containers and destroy Action Stars.
The aesthetic of the stage is that of a giant toy box, with brightly-colored mechanisms and decorative objects. The walls are tiled with blue and orange ceramic.
In Kirby Fighters 2, it is possible to toggle on or off the hazards for this stage in regular battles. When hazards are off, the Springy Hands will not extend at all.
Unlock requirements[edit]
In Kirby Fighters 2, Springy Hand Land is one of the first stages already available from the start, with a Fighters Rank of 1. The secret song for the stage is unlocked at a Fighters Rank of 31.
Origin[edit]
- Main article: Lollipop Land - Stage 3
Springy Hand Land takes its aesthetic and main theme music from the Lollipop Land - Stage 3 in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, which first introduced Springy Hands into the Kirby series. There are very few graphical differences between the original level and the stage, and the Springy Hands themselves behave in practically identical fashion.
