An EX Stage[1] (also referred to as an Extra Stage[2]) is a term used to refer to any hidden unlockable main game stage in a Kirby game which is not required to complete in order to finish the game it appears in, and which is not merely a Copy Ability Room. EX Stages first appeared in Kirby: Squeak Squad, and have since made a number of reappearances in select games. The following is a chronological list of each EX Stage in the Kirby series, sorted by game:

Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]

Kirby's Epic Yarn / Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[edit]

Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition[edit]

New Challenge Stages has two EX stages unlocked after completing the main game, as follows:

Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]

Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe[edit]

Each stage in Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe has an "EX" variant that is available after completing the main game.

Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]

Kirby's Blowout Blast[edit]

Each stage in Kirby's Blowout Blast has an "EX" variant that is available after completing the main version of the stage with at least a gold trophy. There is also the Secret Path, unlocked by getting gold trophies in all prior stages, including EX stages.

Kirby Star Allies[edit]

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]

Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler has two EX stages.
