Reproduction of Darkness is a medley from Kirby: Planet Robobot that plays when battling Dark Matter Clone in Meta Knightmare Returns and The True Arena.

Composition[edit]

This medley features two themes:

The medley opens with "Real Dark Matter", including the intro. The "Real Dark Matter" melody plays a second time, being even more emphasized than the first. A transition then occurs, where the last note of the previous melody is held as the introduction of "Dark Matter Blade" plays. It then continues to play that melody up until the original track's loop point, where it instead transitions back to the melody of "Real Dark Matter", where this medley loops.

This medley is defined by its faithful instrumentation to the original tracks, with very similar notes. The big difference in sound comes from 21 years of technological improvement, and the use of shrill synthesizers and a drum set rather than the classic Game Boy sound chip.

This medley appears to accompany the first of three surprise bosses, Dark Matter Clone. It is found as Track 150 in the Jukebox.
