Purpose[edit]
This is a variant of the {{cite}} template that is to be used when you are citing a manual for a Kirby game. This is intended for citing sources, and should be used within <ref></ref> tags.
Usage[edit]
To use, enter this code:
- {{Cite manual|quote=[the quote]|language=[the language of the manual (optional)]|game=[which game's manual]|page=[the page(s) that the quote is on]}}
Replace the parts in [ brackets ] like so:
- quote
- The exact quote as it appears in the source material.
- language
- The language the manual was written in. Only add this if the reference stems from a non-English manual (such as to provide proof of a non-English name); the "language=" attribute should be left out in its entirety otherwise.
- game
- The name of the game that the manual belongs to (this string will be italicized automatically).
- page
- The page number(s) that the reference is pulled from (format: 54 or 34-36).
- type
- The type of the manual (i.e. "digital" or "electronic").
- print
- The regional variety of the manual (i.e. "NA" for North American, "EU" for European, "JP" for Japanese), if a manual of the same language differs between regions.
Example:
{{cite manual|quote=Up to four people can play sub-games via a wireless connection.|game=Kirby Super Star Ultra|print=NA|page=27}}
Generates:
- "Up to four people can play sub-games via a wireless connection." –Kirby Super Star Ultra instruction manual (NA print, page 27)
