"Milky Way Wishes: Map"[conjectural title] is a track from Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra which acts as the map theme for Milky Way Wishes.

Composition[edit]

"Milky Way Wishes: Map" is a mostly calm yet unsettling theme primarily in G minor and an irregular 7/8 meter. The melody itself is calm, played in low registers. It presents wide rising opening intonations forming a triad and gradually descending resolution. The higher instruments simply play a more restless accompaniment consisting of sixteenth notes. The melody picks up the restless character with a harmonically unstable progression fleshing out F minor harmonies with a E flat/E natural shift at its core. The last bar of the section is extended to 8/8 and has a hasrened rhythmical pattern. The structure then repeats from B-flat minor. In the final section, the low melody gives way to octaves pedal points while the accompaniment highlights minor seventh chords from E-flat and D-flat. The last bar is once again extended to 8/8. The last beat prepares a quick subdominant to G minor, and the track immediately loops from the start.
