Greetings, and a note on adding new content

Howdy, SeaUrchin. I notice you've been adding various trivia points around the wiki in an attempt to add more content. I appreciate that you want to help out in this way, but I think there's something you should know about how we generally handle things here on WiKirby that is different from other wikis.

We have a trivia policy, you see, which forbids us from making trivia sections too long, since we want to put more emphasis on information in the main body of articles. As such, we generally de-emphasize those sections save for noting things of importance that didn't fit into the main body. I know a lot of other wikis like to stuff their trivia sections with lots of small tidbits, but it's really not how we do things here.

This isn't necessarily a slam on you, especially since you are a new user, but I would appreciate if you could spend less time adding trivia points to articles and do other things instead. You should be able to make a new page now. That said, before you do that, make sure you are aware of various formatting and content policies for the wiki. I'd recommend setting up a personal sandbox page so you can start piecing things together without making a mess in mainspace. --Samwell (talk) 03:52, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
