The project[edit]
- The project's purpose is to add an archive link to external link, in order to prevent link rot. It has been set up upon this proposal.
- See here for how to archive websites.
- Remember to read through the entire article for external links. While they are the most commonly seen in References, that is not always the case.
- Interwiki links should only be archived if they are used as references.
- In case of embed videos, only official videos should be archived.
Checklists[edit]
These checklists are a list of all pages that need to be checked. In case of Articles Checklist, the checked articles need to be removed manually, and some of them might not have any external links, but they can be simply taken off the checklist. In case of Files Checklists, they use DPL3, meaning they are automatically updated.
