Wii Kirby[conjectural title], is a game in-development for Wii. Due to this, not much is known or confirmed at this point. What is known:

  • It is a sidescroller, similar to more traditional Kirby games, like Kirby's Adventure.[1]
  • Kirby's ability to copy his opponents moves will return.[1]
  • It bears a striking resemblance to the unreleased GameCube game.[2]
  • The Sword and Fire Copy Abilities seem to employ at least one attack affecting most of the visible screen.

It currently has no release date, however, in the official press release of the trailer by Nintendo, it will release some time this year.

Gameplay

Gameplay will return to that of classic Kirby adventures, in that it will be a side-scrolling platform game, and that Kirby will once again be able to copy from his opponent abilities to be used.

Enemies

In the video below, recurring enemies such as Waddle Dees, Cappies, Mumbies, Bronto Burts, and a Blade Knight are seen. A new enemy, what appears to be many Dees in a plastic shell that looks like a Waddle Dee. The Pacto and Como enemies from Kirby's Dream Land 3 also appear. There also appears to be a small Kirby enemy, possibly Batamon in one scene where Kirby is using his Super Inhale from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.
