"Sky Waltz"[Japanese title] is a theme from Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It can be heard in Nutty Noon, and was composed by Hirokazu Ando. This theme would later reappear in Kirby: Triple Deluxe as an Extra Stage track for Old Odyssey.
Composition
This theme, like all waltzes, is in 3/4 time. It contains both string and wind instruments, along with light percussion. It starts in E-flat major with some sort of a descending scale. Then it goes into the first part, which is played with a wind-wood like instrument. Then it goes into the second part, and goes into the key of C minor. The lead part of this portion is played by a string like instrument, similar to a violin. This second portion has a part similar to a descending scale as well. Afterwards, it loops back to the beginning, and is overall among the shorter stage themes in the series.
