Arena Showdown (also simply referred to as The Arena) is a musical piece which first appeared in [[Kirby Super Star|Template:KSS KFP]], playing in multiple battles of The Arena.

Game appearances

Template:KSS KFP / Kirby Super Star Ultra

Arena Showdown is the main battle theme in The Arena, and plays in every Mid-Boss and Boss battle that does not have a unique battle theme.

Kirby Air Ride

The original version from Template:KSS KFP can be unlocked as an alternate theme in Sky Sands.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

A remix of the theme is present in the game, and, like its original appearance, is the main battle theme in The Arena, playing in every battle that does not have a unique battle theme.

Kirby Star Allies

The Kirby: Triple Deluxe arrangement of this track plays when viewing the "Super Ultra Battle" Celebration Picture.

Trivia

  • "Arena Showdown", and by extension The Arena's title theme, is likely inspired by the "Mars" movement of Gustav Holst's The Planets suite. Both use the same repeating staccato strings and classical orchestra instrumentation. The "Mars" movement is often associated with war, due to the Roman god of war bearing the same name.
