Game play
Most games in the Kirby series involve Kirby having to get from the start of a room to a door or another object. To get through, Kirby must pass by many enemies, most of which will give Kirby an ability when he swallows them. Kirby has a limited amount of lives and has a limited number of hits for each life. If Kirby loses a part of his life, he can eat a Maxim Tomato or other items to get some of it back. In some games, after Kirby finishes a level, he plays a mini-game which could give him extra lives.
