Makiko Ohmoto

Makiko Ohmoto (大本眞基子 Ōmoto Makiko) is a voice actor and the main and current voice of Kirby. She has voiced him since Super Smash Bros. and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Roles

In addition to Kirby, she voices Rick (in the Japanese dub of Kirby: Right Back at Ya!), Queen Sectonia and Susie in the Kirby series.

In the Super Smash Bros. series, she voices Ness from EarthBound (used in all languages), as well as Lyn from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and Viridi from Kid Icarus: Uprising (Japanese voice).

Kirby series

In addition, Makiko performed Kirby's voice live at the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert, and also sang the first verse of "The Noble Haltmann", the anthem of Haltmann Works Company.

Super Smash Bros. series
