"Grass Land: Stage Select", is the stage select theme for Grass Land in Kirby's Dream Land 3. The theme was composed by Jun Ishikawa, and plays exclusively in the level hub of Grass Land. It can also be heard as track 25 in the game's Sound Test.

Composition

Sprawling plains signify the beginning of a new adventure.

Like many stage select themes in Kirby's Dream Land 3, "Grass Land: Stage Select" is short and simple. This theme is a cheery tune in G major and has a swing beat. The melody is played by a woodwind, and there is a backing instrument playing notes a third apart.

The second half of the melody is very similar to corresponding parts of other map themes from the same game, these being "Ripple Field: Stage Select" and "Cloudy Park: Stage Select". The latter in particular is even more heavily related to this track.

Trivia

• On the Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack CD set, this theme's name was accidentally given to "Ripple Field: Stage Select". Not long after the CD's release, apologies were issued alongside replacement obis and booklets now featuring the correct title.
