"Stellar Way", named "Theme from Stellar Way" in the British English version, is a theme from Kirby's Epic Yarn and its remake that plays for the majority of the stage with the same name. It was composed by Tomoya Tomita.[1]
Composition[edit]
Beady shooting stars fall towards Kirby.
"Stellar Way" is a cheery theme in G major and 4/4. It starts off with a descending piano intro consisting of descending thirds played separately in high registers with subtle tambourine backing. As the main part begins, a triangle joins, as well as a quiet reverberated organ support for the piano. A variation of the intro persists as an accompaniment while the melody develops in short rising phrases and longer descending parts. After two iterations, it transitions with a variant of the intro to a second section, featuring a rising triad in first inversion, not unlike those from "Big-Bean Vine" and "Melody Town". Ending in a slow and delicate manner similarly to "Big-Bean Vine", it moves on back to the first section, and the track loops.
